DCE engineers achieve P604 LEV commissioning qualifications

Dust Control Environmental is proud to announce that two of its esteemed engineers, Josh Briggs and Andy Hepworth, have successfully achieved the P604 qualification. This significant accomplishment underscores their expertise and commitment to excellence in the field of local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems.

The P604 qualification, awarded by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), is a highly regarded certification that focuses on the performance evaluation, commissioning, and management of LEV systems1. To earn this qualification, candidates must demonstrate their ability to conduct comprehensive studies involving the commissioning, performance evaluation, and thorough examination and testing of LEV systems2. This includes compiling detailed reports that assess the functionality and adequacy of all components of the LEV system for its intended purpose2.

Josh Briggs and Andy Hepworth’s achievement of the P604 qualification is a testament to their dedication and technical proficiency. This qualification not only enhances their individual skill sets but also significantly benefits Dust Control Environmental as a whole. With their advanced knowledge and capabilities, the company is now better equipped to ensure that its LEV systems are designed, commissioned, and maintained to the highest standards, thereby providing safer and healthier working environments for its clients.
