Donut International achieves Made in Britain accreditation

ABERDEEN-based escape products manufacturer Donut International Ltd has been accredited by the Made in Britain organisation and is now embarking on an initiative that will see the Made in Britain mark applied to all its products, promotions and literature.

Donut International Ltd is a British company with a 30-year history dedicated to the safety of all workers in the oil and gas, renewables, marine and construction industries; both offshore and onshore. Donut personal control descent device products are Made in Britain and endorsed by safety professionals globally, from individual operators to the largest multinational organisations.  According to the company, Donut devices are the industry standard and market-leading products intended for the last means of escape in the event of an emergency.

Peter Waite, business development and compliance manager at Donut International, told Made in Britain, “British-made products represent the highest quality in design, development and manufacturing. Products labelled ‘Made in Britain’ continue to provide an expectation of superiority. Britain is renowned worldwide for its manufacturing; therefore having the Made in Britain accreditation essentially endorses Donut products and compliments the regulatory standards certificates of approval.”
