Our transformers are meticulously custom-designed and manufactured in the UK, ensuring they meet the exacting standards required for offshore renewable energy applications. With voltage ratings ranging from 690V/3.3kV to 690V/6.6kV, each transformer is crafted as part of an integrated system to support the unique needs of our valued client’s offshore renewable energy operations.
The UK-based manufacturing process is at the heart of our commitment to quality and reliability. Each transformer undergoes rigorous testing and quality control, with skilled engineers dedicated to overseeing every stage of production. From precision winding and core assembly to final inspection, every detail is carefully managed to deliver a product with outstanding durability and performance in demanding maritime environments.
Our attention to detail in design and finishing ensures not only the functional integrity of each transformer but also its resilience against corrosion and other environmental factors typical of offshore applications. This project embodies our dedication to engineering excellence and sustainable innovation, providing high-performance, tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of the maritime and renewable energy sectors.
Electro-Wind provides a comprehensive range of transformers, including air-cooled, liquid-filled, industrial, choke, AC reactor, isolation, auto, hexaphase, and K-factor transformers. We also supply railway signalling transformers, control panel transformers, and general-purpose transformers. Our facilities include extensive repair and testing capabilities, supported by dedicated technical assistance. Electro-Wind holds UL certification for transformers, autotransformers, and inductors, with UL recognition for both U.S. and Canadian markets. Additionally, we design, manufacture, and test neutral earthing transformers according to IEC 60076 standards, with testing conducted in line with IEC 60076-11.
In addition to the above, we manufacture site electrical transformers with reduced low voltage, designed to meet the requirements for temporary site electrical installations in construction.
