Caribbean Blinds are thrilled to announce its continued support of local football team, AFC Sudbury, after extending its current sponsorship agreement with the club. Having initially started a relationship with AFC Sudbury back in 2019, sponsoring the newly formed girls academy, we have now enhanced our support by additionally becoming the sole sponsor of the club’s new and upgraded home and away kit for both men and women’s teams across all age groups, from youths to academy and the first team.
Where AFC Sudbury previously upheld different sponsors for different teams, Caribbean Blinds’ sponsorship will allow all teams to play under the same sponsor and in identical kit, providing continuity and therefore a greater feeling of inclusion for all players.
Our Managing Director, Stuart Dantzic commented: “Having been a key employer in Sudbury since 2000, with most of our workforce from here and the surrounding areas, it was great to be able to support the club who are a key part of the Sudbury community.
Along with bringing the community together through sport, AFC Sudbury is actively involved in charity and fundraising activity and is an all-inclusive club from grass roots that helps children and youngsters live out their passion and excel in the sport, whilst also ensuring a solid discipline to guarantee high standards both on and off the field – supporting education so the youngsters are well-rounded.
Both Caribbean Blinds and AFC Sudbury look for long-term partnerships that we can add genuine value to, so when we heard that the club wanted a sponsor who would be truly engaged, we knew we had to get involved.”
Andrew Long, Chairman of AFC Sudbury added: “We at AFC Sudbury are absolutely delighted to have broadened our relationship with our friends at Caribbean Blinds. Since we first partnered with them 12 months ago, it was clear to us that they were exactly the type of business that we wanted to build a long-term relationship with. While they are an expanding, innovative company full of new ideas and ways of working, they still remain at heart a local Sudbury company at the centre of the community.
We are thrilled that they have agreed to sponsor the shirts of every team playing under our banner for at least the next three seasons, and we hope that the arrangement will continue for much longer than that. It strengthens our #OneClub philosophy and it is wonderful to be able to do this with the generous support of a local company.”
