Dannells launch first-ever virtual lampshade making workshop - teaching new skills and encouraging British Manufacturing

On Friday 24th April, Danells will be hosting the first-ever virtual lampshade making workshop from Manchester. 

Using the Zoom platform, Instructor Sam Sterken, will be showing the viewers how to make a professional lampshade for their home, or a handmade gift for their friends or family.  

They can watch or join in, all they need is a lampshade making kit and some fabric of their choice.

Dannells aim is keeping people who are lockdown at home entertained and in touch with other people in a creative fun way that supports mental health. They  only launched this yesterday and already have 150 registrants

Dannells say that many who have been taught to make a lampshade go on to start professional lampshade making business's selling through the online shopping channels. There is a demand for the fashionable UK made lampshades as our High St is filled with neutral coloured lampshades made in the far east using substandard materials.
