Flat Pack Pods Make Testing Safer, Easier & Faster

Made in Britain member Wrights Plastics has developed a flat pack rapid install pod to help organisations mass testing of staff, contractors and visitors.

The UK Government has identified rapid lateral flow testing as helping prevent the spread of Coronavirus and helping businesses, schools and many other organisations operate as safely as possible. Rapid testing using lateral flow tests, aims to help protect those at highest risk. Around 1 in 3 people who have coronavirus have no symptoms and may be unknowingly spreading the virus.

On the 7th February 2021 the UK government announced that the rapid testing programme was expanded to include organisations with 50 or more employees.

The West Bromwich-based plastic fabricator's pods are manufactured at their UK factories from high impact acrylic to ensure the pods are sturdy, lightweight and easy to clean & maintain. They include a clear panel with hatch and shelf to make contactless testing easier.

The pods can be used standalone or joined together to create temporary testing areas.  They can be assembled in minutes, and just as easily dismounted and relocated in different locations if required.

The company, which recently celebrated their 50th anniversary, believes the pods are ideally suited to schools & colleges, construction sites, call centres, warehouses and distribution centres.
