Fracino supports BSA pop-up show with Anya Marco as confirmed speaker

FRACINO is among the exhibitors at the BSA’s PopUp exhibition on Wednesday, 18th March where coffee market guru Anya Marco - a leading authority on UK coffee trends - is a speaker.

Taking place at Bury Lodge from 10.30am-4pm, the event, which is free of charge to attend, follows the success of a similar exhibition last year - offering new business opportunities, networking and seminars for exhibitors and visitors in the Out of Home market. Ms Marco has 25 years of experience in the coffee shop industry and is one of the UK’s leading authorities on UK and global coffee shop trends.

Her early career includes being mentored by Sinclair Beecham at Pret A Manger, followed by several years with Starbucks UK before becoming the MD of her own foodservice supply business. As Executive Director for Allegra World Coffee Portal, Anya authored definitive business publications and advised major names in the coffee shop industry.

BSA chairman Steve Slark, said: “The popularity of last year’s exhibition has proved there is a big appetite for this type of event and we are delighted to have Anya on board to share her breadth and depth of expertise. Latest statistics reinforce how the UK’s catering industry continues to thrive with revenues of £1bn, an annual growth of one per cent since 2013 - and employing a workforce of over 28,000.

With the British Hospitality Association (BHA) also forecasting a 1.9 per cent annual increase across 2017-2020, we encourage businesses and exhibitors to get involved and join us at Bury Lodge.”

Supported by European Watercare, the PopUp Show offers a cost-effective, easy set up and set down formula for up to 40 exhibitors who also include European Watercare Brew-It Group and Sidon.

Fracino’s global head of sales, Peter Atmore, who is also a BSA board member, added: “We’re looking forward to another successful show which provides food and bar facilities and offers a low-cost entry and no ‘hidden’ costs for exhibitors to maximise opportunities. We received great feedback from our customers who attended last year and urge businesses to maximise this opportunity.”

To exhibit at the event - stands are priced at £150 + VAT for BSA members or £200 + VAT for non- members - contact Karen Kleber at popuptradeshow@gmail.com or call 01279 780258.
