From the BTCC to Leeds Formula, MPM is in the mix at all levels when it comes to the racing arena!
WHEN looking for production space and expert manufacturing advice, the student Leeds Formula team (Leeds Gryphon Racing, left) approached MPM due to the Made in Britain member's vast production area, and in-depth manufacturing knowledge to aid in the production of their new racing vehicle.
Being a carbon-fibre project, it was a project we were keen to support here at MPM and we jumped at the chance when the team at Leeds Gryphon Racing approached us with a requirement for production space, resources and manufacturing advice.
Ben, managing director at MPM, said, "The team this year have really impressed the wider MPM team and in particular, myself. In an era of increasing automation in the manufacturing world, there's still always going to be a necessity for people with real 'hands-on' skills, this team had exactly that. Our expert team advised in the design and making the parts effective in production for the vehicle, with the Leeds Gryphon Racing team doing the production, getting hands-on in the process. These are the manufacturers and engineers of the future, and we're proud to have been able to support them on their journey."
