MEMBERS new to Made in Britain this week ending 26 August have a distinctly high-tech look to them.
Emolice Control Panel Solutions joins the electronics sector of members. As a multi-discipline engineering business, Emolice can provide everything from the manufacture of a simple control panel built to a customer’s design, through to the delivery of a bespoke control system designed from a simple brief. Aldermaston-based Emolice plans to put the Made in Britain mark on all its UK-manufactured products as well as for marketing purposes.
Hendon-based energy storage products maker Powervault Limited plans to use the mark on its products’ outer cases and in its marketing literature. Powervault Limited joins our energy sector.
Surrey-based Direk makes building optimisation software and will use the Made in Britain mark on its website, leaflets, social media and exhibition displays.
Two members bolster the technology sector itself. Air For Life UK Ltd makes health technology products that specialise in air purification and air sanitisation using a NASA-developed technology in Milton Keynes. It will use the mark on its website, packaging and promotional material.
It is joined by LapSafe, which produces storage and charging trolleys and cabinets for laptops, Chromebooks and tablets with solutions for the loaning and asset tracking of multiple devices. It makes these goods in Colchester and plans to use the Made in Britain mark alongside its branding.
Slightly less high-tech but no less important and valuable is bedding. Jonic manufactures and supplies a range of handcrafted bed linen and mattresses for the leisure industry, the domestic sector and also to the hospitality sector. All of its products are manufactured in-house at its Morecambe, Lancashire workshop. Jonic joins the home and living sector.
