Iron & Pine is thrilled to announce they have been shortlisted in two categories at the highly respected Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2025. The company has been recognised for its outstanding work on Bothan, a seven container home on the Isle of Coll in the categories of Individual New Build and Innovation in Sustainable Construction and Design.
The Herald Property Awards, in association with Prime Property Auctions, celebrate the best of Scotland's property and construction sectors, highlighting excellence in design, innovation, and sustainability.
Alistair Fell, Co-Founder, said: "We are incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for not one, but two awards in the Herald Property Awards. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, and it highlights our commitment to sustainable, modular construction. We look forward to celebrating alongside our industry peers at the awards ceremony."
The container home project, located on Coll, has been praised for its innovative design and use of modular construction techniques which allowed the majority of the work to be completed offsite.
Additionally, the business has been recognised in the Made in Scotland Awards in the category of Manufacturer of the Year (Under £25million).
Luke Mazs, Co-Founder, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be a Scottish business and although we have customers nationwide our roots remain firmly in Dumfries and Galloway. These nominations show that having a commitment to providing high quality products is vital in building business reputation and it’s great that this has been recognised by the Made in Scotland judging panel.”
The awards ceremonies will both take place on Thursday 25th September in Glasgow.
