JCK Joinery is Recruiting - Senior CAD Technician

WE'RE RECRUITING! WE'RE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR A SENIOR CAD TECHNICIAN 

We would really appreciate it if our Made In Britain Network would spread the word. JCK Joinery is keen to appoint a Senior CAD Technician as soon as possible for our JCK workshop in Leicester. 

Depending on your experience you could earn up to  £35,000 per annum, with excellent benefits.

Here are some of the key responsibilities: 

  • Produce all CAD drawings for timber door sets and associated products
  • Produce Cutting Lists for shopfloor production
  • Maintain the product specifications and drawings on ERP system, Joinerysoft
  • Provide support with programming of CNC machine for new specifications and advise CNC operators when necessary on changes
  • Provide technical assistance on timber door sets to all customers – Architects, Main and sub-contractors, Local
  • Authorities, Engineers – by phone and email
  • Active involvement in new and existing product development including fire door and security testing programmes
  • Administer and develop technical information such as thermal UV calculations
  • Ensure all technical filing is completed and easy to access (hard copy, digital, reference literature)
  • Work closely with the Production Supervisors on intricate joinery design requirements
  • Provide assistance to the Operations Manager and Directors with any ad-hoc technical duties or projects
