We've recently purchased the highly-accurate Keyence Instant Measurement system for our Bishop Auckland, Co. Durham manufacturing facility, adding an innovative, fast and user-friendly layer to our quality control and testing processes which will ensure the continued consistency, accuracy and reliability of our clients' miniature complex components.

Automatic measurement in seconds of complex miniature components
Enhancing our current quality measures, the Keyence kit measures components placed onto the stage using high-definition imaging. At the touch of a button, simultaneous, 360-degree multi-surface measurements are captured with a 20 megapixel CMOS sensor for fast, accurate and consistent measurement results.
Eliminating operator error and potential anomalies caused by manual inspection, this three-dimensional system with an automated rotary feature analyses products, measures 300 different features and reports on measurement instantly, producing results quickly to avoid hold-ups in production and supporting the measurement and monitoring of more parts during each run.
OF Bell is a miniature and complex component specialist. The Keyence system handles the accurate measurement of small, large and three-dimensional parts, offering great versatility across our clients' diverse range of components, electrical assemblies and parts.
And not only does the system support our quality-control measures, but the Keyence technology will also be an asset to our product design and development work, enabling our team to closely analyse client products and prototypes during projects which, for example, seek to create replacements for metal parts or to engineer parts for production onshore.
