PLATINUM Jubilee celebrations are almost upon us. Are you ready to party?
This is the final week of our calls to members for their stories about the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and its associations. We have collected these stories and some of them have been published on this website; others have been shared via social media and many will be incorporated into our external PR activity as the big day approaches.
So, this is your last chance to raise your profile and use Made in Britain to share your jubilee story. This week we return to the amazing Made in Britain product directory, the free, searchable listing filled with products made by members of Made in Britain. In some cases, products on our directory appear higher in internet search results than the same products on the member’s own website.
How will your company be celebrating the Platinum Jubilee? Will you be having a factory party? If so, please let us know what you are planning. Tell us about the food, the drinks, the fun activities and entertainment you are organising.
In preparation for the jubilee, are you producing any new product lines, bolstering current product lines, and maybe upping production ahead of the big day? Please provide details and figures to highlight any increases in production.
Please share details of products you have that are appropriate for a jubilee factory celebration or celebration. Outdoor lighting and audio or outdoor furniture were the ones we thought of.
Please also share details of any products that have a regal theme that could work well for jubilee product round-ups. A crown or corgi design or perhaps a fabric that feels regal – something red or purple velvet embedded with crystals or jewels will hit the spot.
Most importantly, ensure these products are loaded onto our product directory and then send us links to the items’ pages on the directory itself. The directory page can feature product images, descriptions and specifications and link directly to a sales channel.
Next week, the week before the bank holiday, we will publish a full round-up of all seven jubilee-themed calls to action. Then we’ll all be ready to party.
