As part of the strategic marketing campaign for 2023, Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Company have recorded a series of short films that, when viewed altogether or as episodes on social media, will celebrate British manufacturing heritage, the company’s pioneering spirit and dogged determination to achieve environmentally clean, and socially responsible growth.
Made in Britain CEO, John Pearce was delighted to be asking the questions of founder, Amanda Oldfield in a friendly and open conversation that covered a broad range of business topics, whilst both were sitting (very comfortably) on a world-class Wrought Iron & Brass Co bed, and pioneering plant-based mattress to compliment it.
Harry Thompson, Brand Development and Marketing Specialist and Producer of the video series, explains the idea of linking the past with the present and future for their series of films;
“There’s no one better way to tell the story of our business than the very person that started it all nearly twenty years ago, Amanda Oldfield. It was the most natural thing in the world for Amanda to be talking ‘beds and mattresses’ and with Made in Britain CEO, John Pearce, whilst sat on our new plant mattress, and on one of our handmade beds. We want viewers and online audiences to get closer to our business, our brands and understand what we really value.”
Using video to bring great stories to life is the affordable way to get your brand values across and transmitted via social media and, of course, they can be re-published achieving more media reach via the Made in Britain news channel. It’s not often a visit to members’ premises involves as much sitting than standing, but that was the nature of getting to know their business, their range of products and their founder, Amanda Oldfield a little better.
