Made in Britain launches new programme to accelerate sustainable business for manufacturers

THIS week marks the start of a new programme of activity - Green Growth - designed for Made in Britain members to speed up their journeys to net-zero.

Beginning with a webinar on Tuesday 13 July at 11am, John Pearce, CEO, and Chris Harrop OBE, chairman at Made in Britain, shared the origins of the Green Growth Survey and Programme and their hopes for the sector’s shift to a more sustainable future.  Watch the recording now, here:

Made in Britain’s vision is to enable and accelerate the manufacturing sector’s transition to a future that’s circular, net-zero and powered by renewable energy. To do this, Made in Britain’s Green Growth survey is now available to every member, as part of their existing membership. The industry-leading Green Growth survey has been designed in partnership with the Cambridge Judge Business School. It measures where businesses are excelling in terms of their sustainability actions, and where they need more support. Every completed survey reveals your business’s benchmark, so you can easily understand where you are on your sustainability journey in comparison to peers and competitors.

The Green Growth Survey is the gateway to the Green Growth Programme - a unique bank of advice, resources and tools to advance your sustainability journey. Covering off topics from sourcing raw materials, purchasing clean, affordable energy and green governance, the Green Growth Programme provides a bespoke suite of advice, tailored based on your Green Growth survey results.

The survey and programme are managed by sustainability expert, Victoria Page (left). If you would like more information, please email her at green@madeinbritain.org

The second Green Growth webinar on Tuesday 27 July is available to view for members only, here: https://www.madeinbritain.org/account/opportunities/watch-the-calculating-climate-risk-webinar-in-your-browser-now
