Made in Britain’s CEO John Pearce and Advisor George Middleton (Director of MAP) are building and strengthening the links between Made in Britain and His Majesty’s Trade Commissioners (HMTCs). Both John and George have liaised with all nine HMTCs during the last month.
Over the coming weeks, John, George and representatives of Made in Britain’s International Trade Panel will meet a number of the HMTCs and their Deputies, including:
• Tuesday 6 February - Latin America & the Caribbean
• Tuesday 27 February - Asia Pacific
• Wednesday 27 March - Europe

HMTCs
HMTCs represent and promote the UK in important markets across the world. They lead on export promotion, inward and outward investment, and trade policy overseas on behalf of His Majesty’s Government (HMG).
Their work includes developing and delivering a regional trade plan setting out the Department for Business and Trade’s priorities in important global markets.
HMTCs also work closely with the wider diplomatic network and UK based colleagues to coordinate HMG activity on the UK’s wider prosperity agenda.

International Trade Programme
Made in Britain’s International Trade Programme aims to assist members to grow their exports.
The Programme’s areas of focus include: connecting members with opportunities and support, such as to: enter new markets; identify, on-board and manage overseas partners (distributors, for example); and, cut through red tape.
An International Trade Panel of Made in Britain members, helps inform our work on trade, as well as Made in Britain's participation in the UK government's specialist consultation groups.
