The Odessa Journal has featured an article about Made in Britain's recent Memorandum of Cooperation in manufacturing between Ukrainian and British businesses.
Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, said: "This year, we signed a Free Trade Agreement that cancels tariffs and quotas in bilateral trade until 2029. Now we are moving to a new level of cooperation. The agreement with Made in Britain will ensure that Ukrainian goods are better represented in the British market and will enhance export opportunities for British businesses."
George Middleton, Made in Britain's Advisor from MAP UK & International, said: "I am pleased to meet with Ms. Svyrydenko and support the Made in Ukraine initiative. We understand the importance of manufacturing for a country's economy, its citizens, and for ensuring the resilience of critical national infrastructure. We see this in the example of the UK, in our international trade and participation in supply chains in different countries around the world. We look forward to developing links between Ukrainian and British businesses next year."
