Meet the new members joining Made in Britain

We are excited to introduce our newest members joining the Made in Britain membership this week. Below, we take a look at who they are, what they do, and how they plan to use the Made in Britain Mark.

First to join the Engineering sector this week is Thermserve Limited. From commission to design and installation, they manufacture products for casting non-ferrous metals and heat treatment equipment. They will use the Made in Britain Mark on their products, factory, exhibitions, brochure, technical guide, digital communications, social media, and website.

Next up to join the Engineering sector is Bikestow. From their unit in Stourbridge, they produce plywood bicycle racks for inside vans, homes, and offices. They will feature the Made in Britain Mark across their packaging, exhibitions, digital communications, social media, and their website.

The third member to join the Engineering sector this week is R Baker (Electrical) Ltd. As a leading UK transformer manufacturer, they provide solution-led electrical and mechanical services for electric motor rewinds, winding services, control units, and bespoke electrical support solutions. They plan to use the Made in Britain Mark on their product, packaging, vehicle livery, factory, brochure, social media, and website.

PFC Engineering is also joining the Engineering sector; they provide high-quality power factor correction and power quality equipment manufactured from their premises in Great Chesterford. They will showcase the Made in Britain Mark on their products, digital communications, and on their website.

Another newcomer to the Engineering sector is Snorkel Europe Ltd. They manufacture and supply MEWPS (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) globally, including Washington, USA, and Tyne & Wear, UK. They will utilise the Made in Britain Mark on their products, vehicle livery, exhibitions, social media, and their website.

Last to be welcomed to the Engineering sector is Good Directions Ltd. They design, manufacture, and install exterior and interior clocks, clock towers, and architectural features. They will be using the Made in Britain Mark across their packaging, warehouse, digital communications, social media, and website.

Entering the Building & Construction sector is ViperClip, who specialise in making cable clips. Their components are sourced from various regions in England: the plastic clip bodies are supplied by Rugby Plastics in Leicester, nails are procured from Frank Shaw in Gloucester, and metal plates are crafted by Clamason in Kingswinford. They also utilise an assembly machine from Kidderminster to assemble their product. They will incorporate the Made in Britain Mark into their products, packaging, supply chain, vehicle livery, workwear, premises, factory, warehouse, exhibitions, brochure, technical guide, digital communications, social media, and their website.

Also joining the Building & Construction sector is Five Star Products. They manufacture grout and concrete repair mortars in Lincolnshire. They plan to use the Made in Britain Mark on their product, packaging, supply chain, vehicle livery, exhibitions, brochure, technical guide, digital communications, social media, and website.

The final member in the Building & Construction sector this week is Vebro Polymers, who manufacture resin-based flooring materials. They are going to use the Made in Britain Mark across their packaging, exhibitions, brochure, technical guide, digital communications, social media, and their website.

Together with their partner, based 10 miles down the road in Lancashire, Specialist Mobility Ltd t/a Made in the Mill, manufacture a range of textile products including lap trays with cushion bases, pin boards, rugs, blankets, fleeces, cushions, bed wedges, and seating products. They will be joining the Home & Living sector and will incorporate the Made in Britain Mark on their product, packaging, digital communications, social media, and website.

Polar Bear Design Ltd are also joining the Home & Living sector this week. Working closely with a manufacturing partner based in Bournemouth that carry out the manufacturing and assembly, they design and engineer a thermostat that controls heating and cooling. The Made in Britain Mark will be used on their product, packaging, exhibitions, brochure, and across their social media.

The Environment sector welcomes SpaceMate Material Handling Ltd this week. They manufacture ‘The SpaceMaker’, built in Pershore, it is an "In cage" card & plastic compactor that helps supermarkets lower their carbon footprint. They will be using the Made in Britain Mark on various platforms, including their product, packaging, workwear, exhibitions, brochure, technical guide, digital communications, social media, and website.

GPS Sprayers Ltd are also joining the Environment sector. They manufacture a pest control product that uses pressurised CO2 to exterminate wasp’s nests. They will be using the Made in Britain Mark on their packaging, exhibitions, brochure, technical guide, social media, and on their website. 

Established in 1967 in Yorkshire, the UK’s heart of manufacturing, Middleton Manufacturing is joining the Transport sector. They are the largest and oldest producer of automotive floor protection products, including tailored car mats, boot mats, and lining materials. They will display the Made in Britain Mark on products, packaging, care labels, premises, factory, digital communications, social media, and website.

Majesa Limited, who manufacture genuine Panama hats, will be joining the Clothing & Accessories sector. They have been the largest wholesaler of Panama hats in Europe for 35 years and will use the Made in Britain Mark on their product, packaging, care label, factory, and their website.

Our final member joining this week is Supercharged Ltd, who will be joining the Energy sector. From Reading, they design, manufacture, and assemble energy storage system batteries for homes and businesses. They will incorporate the Made in Britain Mark into their product, packaging, care label, supply chain, vehicle livery, workwear, premises, factory, warehouse, exhibitions, brochure, technical guide, digital communications, social media, and website.
