METOFIX CB-A2 3:1 Ratio solvent free epoxy building / brick adhesive is designed primarily for the decorative brick industry for Cut and Bond or Bedding applications, where the use over 18m height requires a fire rated product. In response to the tragic events surrounding the Grenfell Tower Fire, the Government sought to introduce new and more stringent legislation in relation to materials used in building structures, and particularly for use as cladding.
The Government announced that, above 18 metre height, materials used were to be individually tested to comply with EN 13501-1:2018. A2 rating. Metofix 3-1 CB-A2 has very similar characteristics to the market leading BBA Approved METOFIX 3-1 which is already used widely in the decorative brick industry.

The product has a unique packaging system which houses the resin and hardener in one container, the hardener housed in the dish lid.
