Shropshire-based display specialist Mid West Displays have launched an online tool to help customers calculate the energy and carbon emissions savings when they switch to their Claralight™ LED Light Pocket range.
Launched in March 2023 the wholly Made in Britain range looks smart but majors on its sustainability credentials. Made from over 60% recycled materials, the range also promises a '40% power saving' due to it lower wattage and switch to 24volts.
Head of Sales Michelle Farnsworth states "To be honest it was hard for customers to quantify that saving when they receive only one energy bill. Plus each display is different - using a different number and combination of different sized LED lightpockets, typically A3 and A4. Plus the expected lifecycle of display is different in each location.
"Now our brilliant new online tool allows customers to calculate their saving simply by entering a few details."
"Not only does it work out their energy savings it converts that to a cash amount. Less energy use = less CO₂ emissions - and we calculate that too."
Michelle states that a typical saving for a display comprising 20 x A3 Claralight LED lightpockets can save up to £1400 over a typical lifecycle - and reduce CO₂ emissions by as much as 1.2 tonnes.
And that figure does not include the impact from their Plant A Tree scheme, run in partnership with The Future Forest Company, which see the display specialist plant a tree for every order.
