Following the announcement earlier in the year of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise International Trade 2021.
Today Mirius was formally presented with the Award or ‘Grant of Appointment’ by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire – Tim Cox on behalf of her Majesty the Queen.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is an awards programme for British businesses who excel at international trade, innovation or sustainable development and are the highest official corporate awards for British businesses.
Says CEO, Steve Quinlan; “We are extremely proud to have won this most prestigious award which truly recognises the international nature of our business in exporting to over 80 countries worldwide, as well as our contribution to the UK economy. It is also an honour that all our staff can share in, for their part in making Mirius the successful global business that it is today.”
This year only 122 businesses won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, with another 83 Queen’s Awards being given in the categories of Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity through Social Mobility.
Established in 1965, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed emblem for the next five years.
