National Apprenticeships Week at Made in Britain

LAST week, 7-13 February 2022, was National Apprenticeships Week. Made in Britain believes apprentices are the lifeblood and future of manufacturing. Recruiting and training young people in a useful trade is a tradition that the manufacturing sector has proudly pursued for decades. Many apprentices go on to be leaders of the businesses that took them on.

Find out more about National Apprenticeships Week here.

Made in Britain Hour on Twitter last Thursday was dedicated to apprenticeships, see #MadeinBritainHour. Made in Britain members Trent Refractories and LINIAN both posted news stories about their work with apprentices. Read the Trent Refractories story here and the LINIAN article here. Made in Britain lent its support through nine specially made videos featuring apprentices and their employers.

Let's hear first from the apprentices themselves.

And now a word from the employers (and Nelo).
