Need some help with enterprise resource planning?

MOST of you will know all about enterprise resource planning, or ERP for short. It’s the idea of taking all the processes required to run a manufacturing business (procurement, supply chain, services, HR, finance) and combining them into one efficient, intelligent system providing visibility and analytics across every aspect of the organisation.

Made in Britain member Hutchinson Engineering, which is famous for making mobile phone masts and parts for wind farms, among other things, has been developing its own ERP system for nine years. It’s so good they’ve called it Kylie and have plans to launch the product commercially.

So if you need ERP, maybe you need Kylie from Hutchinson Engineering. Hutchinson is looking for Made in Britain member partners to help with the next phase of development and roll-out. Hutchinson told Made in Britain that the initial product cost, to the right company, could be free-of-charge. This seems like a great opportunity to support a fellow member and possibly enjoy the benefits of sophisticated ERP for no initial cost.

The company wants members from a variety of sectors to get in touch and discuss the possibility of being involved prior to a wider industry launch, so if you’d like to find out more, email neal@hutchinsonengineering.co.uk
