Specialist Paper Coaters and manufacturers of anti slip pallet liners from facilities in Manchester: Packaging Products (Coatings) Ltd joins Made in Britain.
The business was established in 1841 and is one of the oldest manufacturers in the North West. Packaging Products (Coatings) Ltd manufacture anti slip pallet liners. This is recycled paper coated with a water based acrylic to create a recyclable lightweight anti slip sheet. The sheet is used as an alternative to a layer pad and it will improve pallet stability and safety. The Company says that 40% of their business is exported worldwide, with most of their exports going into Europe, but also supplying worldwide as far as Australia. The Company has also invested in new machinery this year which will double the capacity of anti slip papers. The new machine will be commissioned in July this year. This is necessary to meet the increased demand for a product that will improve safety and reduce transit damage.
