The Made in Britain executive team will be attending the Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat Party Conferences to highlight the Made in Britain Trademark and showcase our 2,100-strong membership community.
At the 4th July General Election, 335 new MPs were elected to parliament – keen to learn about the origins of British goods and the domestic manufacturers behind their production. Made in Britain is committed to demonstrating how the manufacturing sector is helping to bring about sustainable growth for the economy.
We will also be sharing vital data and insights about the sector collected from our vibrant membership community, including distributing the Made in Britain Autumn British Manufacturing Barometer focused on Environment and Society.
To all Made in Britain members:
1. Update your member profile: We encourage you to update your member profile in the Members’ Directory to ensure your business is accurately represented ahead of the Conference period. By updating your information, you help provide MPs with accurate data and insights about the manufacturing sector's contribution to sustainable economic growth.
2. Pinpoint your factory: Please also check your address pin on your Member Profile and update it if necessary. MPs will be viewing the Made in Britain Membership Map throughout this year’s Conference season. The map now features an enhanced view allowing you to position your pin accurately, so ensure it is the right place!
If you need help setting your pin, email membership@madeinbritain.org with “Location Pin” in the subject line.
3. Write to your local MP: If you have time, please write to connect with your local MP, to introduce your business and encourage them to visit the Made in Britain exhibition stand. You can find details here of how to get contact details for your local MP and a step-by-step guide, as well as daft wording.
