Pitchmark began distributing line marking products and accessories to Polyclean LLC in 2019, expanding its export portfolio to the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East. With sport continually rising in popularity in the UAE, Polyclean UK was formed in 2022 to extend its reach into the UK market, bringing Pitchmark products to the Scottish capital.
Founded in 2013 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Polyclean LLC provides premium sports field and horticultural products to customers in Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
As part of Polyclean's international portfolio of turf products, the company distributes over 50 brand names manufactured from world-renowned sports turf organisations, including ICL and Syngenta. Pitchmark joined the esteemed list in 2019 to exclusively distribute its high-quality, sustainable and British line marking paints, machines, and accessories throughout the Middle East.
Tim Rodman, Managing Director at Pitchmark, and Babiker Khateeb, co-owner of Polyclean LLC, started working together in 2018 after Rodman first contacted Khateeb after conducting initial market research.
"Since our company began in 2010, we have grown to over 20 distributors around the world, and our next goal was to expand into the Middle East market," Rodman said.
"I reached out to Polyclean after initial market research, and their vast experience and excellent customer service made it clear they would be the ideal choice to help grow the Pitchmark brand.
"The demonstration was held at Dubai Sports City, which has hosted Newcastle United, Leicester City, and others for warm-weather training camps, and we now work with Khateeb in the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia," Rodman expressed.
As a result of many years of providing customers in the Middle East with premium sports turf and horticultural products tailored to their needs, Khateeb founded Polyclean UK to expand to the UK market - starting in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Turfix, part of The Pitchmark Group, is the exclusive UK-distributor for Pitchmark products across the UK. However, with no direct representation in Scotland, Polyclean UK has been appointed as the official Scottish dealer for Pitchmark products heading into 2023.
"We are excited to announce that the newly-formed Polyclean UK will distribute Pitchmark products to a new customer base in Scotland, following years of working closely with Khateeb and Polyclean," said Rodman.
