Wrights Plastics are celebrating their continued partnership with the pioneering UK telephone technology company HiHi, as they push the boundaries of business communication hardware.
You may remember their involvement with the launch of their revolutionary HiHi2 model—an innovative device that blended the functionality of a telephone, Android tablet, and laptop into a single, smart desktop solution. With its modular design and sleek interface, it marked a major leap forward for office-based and remote working communication.
Now, HiHi is back with the HiHi4—and once again, the West Bromwich-based plastic fabrication company is delighted to be playing a vital role.
The HiHi4 builds on the foundations of the HiHi2, boasting a range of hardware, software, and usability improvements. With faster performance, a refined modular tablet design, higher-resolution video capabilities, and enhanced cloud integration, it’s a true next-gen business phone.
But amid all the technological upgrades, one key feature has remained consistent: our high-quality printed components that bring the product to life.
Wrights Plastics has manufactured nearly 30,000 handset covers for the HiHi4 to date, each one produced using their sector-leading, high-speed digital printers. They print directly onto hard-coated polycarbonate to deliver a crisp, vibrant finish that not only looks premium but is also durable enough to withstand heavy, everyday use.
After printing, each cover is precision-cut using their Zünd G3 cutting system, ensuring a flawless fit every time.
The rear of the HiHi4 features a silver carbon fibre-effect vinyl, designed to subtly elevate the brand’s visual identity. Wrights digitally print each piece for colour accuracy and brand consistency, then knife-cut them to precision To date, they’ve printed almost 40,000 vinyls, helping HiHi deliver a device that’s just as impressive on the outside as it is on the inside.
MD Mike Wright said this week "As HiHi continues to lead innovation in business communication, we’re thrilled to support them with printed components that meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and durability. From the HiHi2 to the HiHi4—and beyond—we look forward to helping bring their vision to life."
