ESTABLISHED in 2001, Atherstone-based Profab Access is a designer and manufacturer of riser doors and access panel solutions for ceilings, walls and drywall partitions. Profab Access has now succeeded in gaining membership to the Made in Britain organisation.
Profab Access told Made in Britain that it is the only manufacturer in the UK to offer steel riser doors that have been CERTIFIRE bi-directionally fire tested up to four hours by accredited third party, Warrington Fire. Profab Access is extremely proud of this rigorous fire testing and says its diverse portfolio of riser doors and access panels offer aesthetics without compromise to safety or fire performance. The company said its commitment to quality, sustainability and sourcing locally means it can continue to proactively support the local community and economy of Atherstone.
Mick Hill, lead technical manager at Profab Access, told Made in Britain, “Achieving the Made in Britain accreditation reflects our commitment to quality and sustainability. By sourcing our materials locally, not only do they have a lower carbon footprint, but this also enables our team of in-house experts to ensure the quality of each access solution we manufacture.”
Profab Access will be using the official Made in Britain mark throughout its internal and external marketing activities and on products and packaging. Find out more about the company from its members’ directory profile page here and its website here.
