As part of our commitment to care for the environment and reduce our carbon footprint, we often recycle the waste materials generated from the various stages of processing that take place in our mill. We have a variety of waste materials available for businesses and individuals to purchase to develop their own projects or products including Raw waste (dirty/greasy), Card waste (great for hand spinning/stuffing), Bobbin waste (for stuffing or craft based activities), Noil waste (which can be used as padding for dog beds, as an example), Worsted waste/tops (for finger crochet/hand spinning) and Hard waste (small bits of spun yarn).
We are delighted to have seen an increase in enquiries from across many sectors wishing to utilise our waste materials and thereby helping us to achieve our goal of reducing and recycling as much as we can. Please note postage charges will apply, unless you are able to collect from our premises.
