RETAIL Design specialists Ripple Group has technically designed, manufactured and installed a steel jacuzzi pool framework at a Manchester hotel leisure club, along with wall and column cladding for its steam room and sauna facilities.
The Oldham-based Made in Britain member worked with specialist architects Milk Leisure, based in Tameside, on the redevelopment at the Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club based in Didsbury.
Matthew Wolfenden, director at Ripple said, "This was a great project to be involved with as it utilised our full range of services which we have under one roof. The processes used on this project were joinery, cabinet making, engineering, steel fabrication and both powder coating and wet spray paint.”
The poolside sauna and steam room walls were clad with CNC machined routed Wedi Wall boards by Ripple and then tiled on site. Wedi boards have a slate and foam design which provides an ideal breathable, waterproof base for tiling in humid environments.
