Round table panel reflects on future prospects for manufacturing

Made in Britain's Director of Membership & Programmes, Simon Boyd (pictured, left) attended a manufacturing round table organised by South East Business Insider earlier this month (September) to discuss the effects on AI, ESG and a host of other issues affecting the manufacturing sector, as well as the prospects for the sector's future.

Simon said: "There's a perception that there's been a period of hold, probably waiting to see what the elections would mean. Now though there's a lot more of our members looking overseas with regard to exports now. There's still work to be done around the challenges of Brexit, however, there does seem to be a lot of investment taking place on infrastructure now, which indicates that we can now move on a bit further."
