Made in Britain members, Scorpion Automotive and its specialist motorcycle brand, Datatool, have announced they’ll be sponsoring GR Motosport Ltd in the British Superbike Championship.
Carl James, Scorpion’s Head of Marketing and Sales Operations, says: “Our sponsorship of GR Motosport is a great opportunity for Scorpion to increase brand awareness of its industry-leading, motorcycle security brand, Datatool, while demonstrating our passion and commitment to the motorcycling community.
“Datatool is the trusted motorcycle security provider for a huge following of motorcycling and motorsport enthusiasts, so we believe our partnership with Team WD40 will resonate well with our customer base.”
The perfect sponsorship match
Since the company started 23 years ago, the GR Motosport team has scooped 15 British championships and championship titles in the European, Irish and South African series. With rider Mason Law at the helm, the GR Motosport team is confident they’re strong contenders for the title at this year’s 12 BSB road race meetings.
Managing Director of GR Motosport, Brent Gladwin, added: “We’re proud to be associated with Scorpion and the Datatool brand. It’s great to have a sponsor on board that shares our passion of motorcycling and motorsport with such fantastic products. It will be a pleasure to use and promote."
And the good news doesn’t end there. Superbike fans can follow Scorpion and Datatool on their social media channels for a chance to win VIP tickets to British Superbike Series events.
