Based in Sheffield, Home Decor GB Ltd are one of Europe's leading suppliers of contemporary bedroom furniture. They take pride in their products and services, retaining complete control of the development process, from identifying consumer needs and initial concept drawings, to design and prototyping. Below, Home Decor tell us more.
What do you manufacture and where do you do that?
We proudly manufacture all our sliding wardrobes at our state-of-the-art factory in Sheffield, we're experts in our field and we're passionate about manufacturing and installing beautiful, high-quality sliding wardrobes.
How long has your business been going and are there any interesting aspects in your history?
We have been designing and manufacturing wardrobes for almost 50 years. We were originally formed as Acmetrack in England in 1975, the business was acquired by The Stanley Works Inc in 1987 and sold seventeen years later, at which time it was renamed Home Decor GB Ltd.
What does it mean to you to be a part of the Made in Britain organisation?

Where does your company use the official Made in Britain mark?
We proudly use the Made in Britain mark on all of our brand’s websites and social media. We also use it on our printed materials in brochures, showroom POS and on exhibition collateral.
Is there any particular new stories you would like to highlight within this story?
We’re proud to have been flying the Made in Britain flag at recent shows which include Home Building and Renovating and Grand Designs, these are the go-to consumer exhibitions for homeowners to gain inspiration and meet retailers they wish to work with.
Over in our contract side of the business, we work with leading house builders to install our fitted and sliding wardrobes into new build housing and apartments. We are currently working on an exciting new project with our client Clarion, installing 279 sliding wardrobes into their new apartments within the beautiful old Nestle factory in York, a stunning building with lots of character.
Is there is anything else you would like to share?
We export products made in Sheffield to 39 different countries around the world. Beyond manufacture we’re also a leading installer of bedroom product; in 2022, we fitted 20,000 wardrobes.
