DERBYSHIRE-based manufacturer of environmentally friendly garden furniture, TDP Ltd, celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2021. The company supplies its robust recycled plastic furniture products to customers including councils, the NHS, parks and gardens, leisure facilities and private home across the UK. TDP Ltd has now been granted membership to the Made in Britain organisation.
TDP Ltd told Made in Britain that its skilled production team takes recycled British plastic waste and turns it into a product that not only shouts about being manufactured in Britain, but is also a great item of environmentally friendly furniture. The dense recycled waste used to make the furniture means it is weather and waterproof and can be left outside safely with no adverse effects. The company says it uses state of the art production equipment at all stages of the manufacturing process, ranging from industry leading CNC machines which ensure accuracy in its component manufacture, to the hand tools used to assemble the furniture.
TDP Ltd says this attention to detail in the manufacture of its products is backed up by its commitment to providing a high quality customer experience from its first contact with its customers to the delivery of its products. The company says that the most rewarding and enjoyable aspect of its work is hearing customer stories when they provide feedback on its products and the excellent service its team provides.
Rob Barlow, managing director at TDP Ltd, told Made in Britain, “We are delighted to join Made in Britain. Being part of a growing number of British companies, now recognised for maintaining our manufacturing heritage is important to us.”
TDP Ltd will be using the official Made in Britain mark on its website, on its social media posts and in its reception area and showroom. The company will also engrave the official mark on its furniture serial number badge and attach it to each item it makes.
