In our Buying British Survey 2024, 79 per cent of businesses and 56 per cent of consumers said that they recognise the Made in Britain Trademark and that more than two-thirds (64 per cent) of businesses said they would be more inclined to buy a product if they had seen the Trademark on it or associated with it.
It's for this main reason that the Made in Britain Trademark was created - to help buyers, at home and abroad, to identify and choose British-made goods.
By using the Made in Britain Registered Trademark, many of our members help draw attention to their British products and benefit from the recognition of the Made in Britain organisation.
To help us tell your story as thoroughly as possible, please send us photographs of items where you feature the Trademark and tell us:
- Where you have integrated the Made in Britain Trademark on your products and packaging.
- Where you use the Made in Britain Trademark within your factory and supply chain.
- Where you incorporate the Made in Britain Trademark within your sales and marketing strategy. For example, exhibition stands, brochures, price lists, website, social media, brochures, etc.
- If you export any of your products that feature the Trademark, and which countries you export to.
- How your customers react when they see the Trademark on your products. For example, have you had any specific comments about your use of the Trademark?
- What you think the impact of including the Trademark has on your products, packaging, or clothing items.
If your business is using the Trademark on your products, we’d love to hear from you and we will feature the best examples across our printed, digital, and social media platforms. Please email us with details and photographs of your products at info@madeinbritain.org.
