CEO, Colin Spencer Halsey of The Natural Fibre Company recently attended the Make UK annual awards dinner in Bristol and was presented with Runner Up in the Energy and Sustainability award category for the South region. The Energy and Sustainability award category recognises the most improved overall environmental performance and sustainability of a manufacturing business and its commitment to plan towards Net Zero.
Colin says: "I am thrilled to accept this prestigious accolade in recognition of our hard work and commitment to our energy and sustainability. It is a dedicated team effort, and we are all very proud to represent manufacturing SMEs and textile manufacturing, which is alive and well, and flourishing in Cornwall".
The Natural Fibre Company is a member of Make UK which champions and celebrates British manufacturing and manufacturers. In 2021 The Natural Fibre Company received the Highly Commended accolade for the Manufacturing Matters award category.
