Recently, our team at Wandsworth Sash Windows had the pleasure of exhibiting at The Listed Property Show – an event at Olympia London where all the information you could need about listed buildings is wrapped up in one package. If you are thinking of altering, renovating or developing your listed building in any way, The Listed Property Show offers excellent resources. By presenting at the show, we were able to meet others in the industry and explain why our products and listed buildings go hand in hand.
What is The Listed Property Show?
The Listed Property Show is an event that brings together industry experts, from suppliers to tradesmen who are knowledgeable in listed buildings. By attending this event, homeowners of listed buildings or those looking to buy one can gain helpful information about developing these buildings. A focus for 2023 at The Listed Property Show has been the Energy Efficiency feature. This focus emphasises the importance of finding energy efficient ways to optimise your listed building whilst maintaining its design’s historical integrity. At the show, homeowners can get advice on all kinds of work that they may be thinking about doing to their listed property, even in terms of advice on planning permissions.
Wandsworth Sash Windows at The Listed Property Show
This year, our team at Wandsworth Sash Windows exhibited at The Listed Property Show. We greatly enjoyed the experience of being around other experts on listed buildings, and being able to talk with prospective customers about the benefits of our services for their properties. When it comes to listed buildings, we are passionate about providing beautiful windows that can be retrofitted, making listed buildings energy efficient and comfortable to live in.
“We relished the opportunity to attend The Listed Property Show, and whilst we were there, we had valuable interactions with other businesses in the industry, as well as communication with our brilliant customers. Exhibiting our vacuum insulated windows to interested property owners meant that we could explain the advantages of retrofitting this innovative glass!”

Vacuum insulated windows for listed buildings
Vacuum insulated glass has the unique advantage of offering the warmth and energy efficiency of triple glazing, at the width of single glazing. This allows you to retrofit vacuum insulated glass into a listed building window as it emulates the same aesthetic as single glazing, which would have been used originally. This could be revolutionary for listed buildings, and transforms what it’s like to live in a listed property by increasing the thermal efficiency.
It was an honour to present our Fineo vacuum insulated glass as an option for listed buildings at The Listed Property Show, as one of our passions is working within these historic structures and using our expertise to help them function to the best of their ability.
