OUR thyme is ready to harvest at our Little Woodcote Estate Farm. After a large winter and spring rainfall, with an exceptional May for sunshine and warmth, we really do have a bumper harvest.
Our field was planted with thyme in 2018 and this will be our second harvest. Traditionally we have imported thyme from Europe and Asia, but with the volatility of supply and our mission to increase our own production here in the UK, we are hoping to be self-sufficient in thyme oil over the coming years.
Thyme is traditionally used in skincare for its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, making it excellent for dealing with a range of skin conditions. When used in a shower gel or massage oil it adds a deep, herbaceous and therapeutic scent.
Our Harvest and Distillation will take place on Monday 15th June at our Little Woodcote Estate Farm and production of oil and products will be at our Croydon Factory, the same day, to ensure freshness of our products.
Naturallythinking Thyme Essential Oil from this years harvest and skincare products will be available on our website at www.naturallythinking.com from the end of June and at our factory outlet store. From the start of July our Oak Tree Farm will be open in Banstead with our full range of products available.
