Tree of Hearts Introduces the Best of Britain Wedding Stationery Collection

With the Queen’s 90th birthday 2016 is a great year to be British. We’ll also be cheering on Team GB in the Olympics and marking historic dates, like the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.

To celebrate Tree of Hearts Wedding Stationery has created the Best of Britain Collection – a stunning range of boutique wedding invitations inspired by Her Majesty.

Lisa Forde, owner of Tree of Hearts says, “Tree of Hearts is very proud to be accredited by Made in Britain and we wanted to celebrate by creating a range of designs which pay tribute to Her Majesty as well as celebrate all things British. We pride ourselves on our reputation for fabulous designs using great quality materials at a very affordable price.”

To create the collection, designer Natalie decided to showcase three very different styles but all with a distinctly British feel.  Cool Britannia is based around the union jack but in pastel colours which are so popular for wedding stationery. The result is a very contemporary invitation.

Royal Monogram on the other hand will appeal to those having a more formal, traditional wedding. The couple’s initials are included as a monogram within delicate gold scrolling and a calligraphy style font.

For Vintage Royal, Natalie captured the popular vintage style and created a collage featuring union jack bunting with detailing including lace, net and buttons. A pair of quirky crowns add an informal touch that captures the feel of those royal street parties we’ll be holding.

With all three designs, attention to detail was paramount. Natalie worked hard to find the right combination of fonts for each style and added a number of little finishing touches. Vintage Royal has rustic twine while the other two include a gemstone – a miniature pearl or diamante to add a further dash of glamour.

Natalie says, “I loved putting together this collection and I’m very pleased with the result. If I have to choose my favourite, it would be Cool Britannia – I love the light contemporary colours but it still very much says Great Britain.”

The Best of Britain collection will be available until December 2016 and a full range of matching wedding stationery items is available. Order online here.
