It’s coming up to five years since we achieved Made in Britain accreditation and we still feel as passionate about being part of this initiative that supports and promotes British-made products.
We believe wholeheartedly that buying British products is better for our customers. We handmake all windows, doors and joinery in our workshop in Ringmer, East Sussex. When customers place orders with us, their products will always be bespoke, handmade and especially for them. That gives our services a personal touch that many other companies simply can’t compete with.
Since we joined MIB in 2017 our business has gone from strength to strength, we have even acquired two new companies in that time. In fact, since we became members, we have:
- Weathered the Corona coaster without making any redundancies – keeping our whole team with us was a massive relief and in fact, we even managed to increase our workforce considerably in the last few years which has given us an enormous sense of pride.
- Manage to open a second workshop in Harlow which we managed to kit out and get up and running within a few months, and we also took over another workshop in the New Forest, making us a four site operation.
- Taken on many large-scale projects including our biggest stained-glass project to date which involved an incredible 1000+ man hours (that’s ten times the number of man hours consumed compared to a typical simple window replacement).
