Warwick Acoustics CEO Mike Grant comments: "These Fast 50 awards are fantastic recognition for the work of our world class team at Warwick Acoustics to as they push the boundaries of automotive and headphone audio technology. 2023 has been a very exciting year for us with the signing of our first series production contract with a premium car manufacturer for our patented and unique speaker systems, and it is great to see that progress recognised by Deloitte."
With seven granted patent families and two further patents pending, the British-designed and manufactured audio technology from Warwick Acoustics brings a revolution to in-car audio. Its electrostatic transducer concept moves away from the traditional format of a speaker, the fundamental principles of which haven’t altered since the first car radio was installed in the 1930s.
Warwick Acoustics’ ElectroAcoustic Panels are now in the final phases of industrialisation for the first customers of this new proprietary technology which is 90% lighter and uses 90% less energy than traditional automotive speakers. The CleanTech award recognises the sustainability credentials of the technology, which is made using upcycled materials and is 100% by mass recyclable and free from rare earth elements.
