Westcotec attains accreditation to Made in Britain

EMPLOYEE-owned Westcotec was formed in 2001 and since then has grown to become one of the biggest suppliers of vehicle-activated signs in the UK. Westcotec has now attained accreditation to the Made in Britain organisation.

Westcotec told Made in Britain that its ethic revolves around customer service, communication and delivering effective solutions with high quality, rigorously tested products made, designed and manufactured in the UK. Westcotec says its experienced and innovative team relishes the challenge of bringing new approaches to old problems and alongside its traditional speed limit warning signs the company also produces specialist devices including road flood warning and bridge height warning systems from its factory at the heart of Norfolk.

Chris Spinks, managing director at Westcotec, told Made in Britain, “We are delighted to have been accepted to Made in Britain and are very proud to have this accreditation. We do our best to source UK made components and work with UK companies in the development of our products. This is not always possible but we strive to maximise this philosophy when we can.”

Westcotec will be using the official Made in Britain mark on its marketing letterheads and where possible on the products themselves. Find out more about the company at its members’ directory profile page here and its website here
