We've transformed our London Showroom

Exactly one year ago, we opened our London showroom with a clear mission: to create a space that was not only beautiful and functional but also challenged perceptions of what JDD Furniture represents. Beyond meeting pods and roofed dens, this was about showcasing our full creative and technical range. Take a look inside.

Built on our reputation for in-house quality and a profoundly personal approach to business, our showrooms are a physical reflection of our values. This year, we pushed that vision further.

As part of Clerkenwell Design Week, we've completely reimagined the space — transforming it into a more immersive, flexible environment that better serves our clients and reflects the evolving world of workplace design.

Thoughtfully redesigned, the showroom now offers a more dynamic, hands-on experience. It highlights our latest collections, invites collaboration, and expresses our brand vision in every detail — from layout to materials.

Why We Refurbished

Our decision to refurbish the showroom stemmed from a desire to create a more versatile, future-ready space that supports rotating collections, live events, and more meaningful client interactions. With a clear focus on sustainability, innovation, and engagement, the new showroom directly expresses our design philosophy and commitment to excellence in a competitive market.

What We Aimed to Achieve

Our goal was to transform the showroom into an inspirational and functional space. Beyond simply displaying products, we envisioned a collaborative environment where designers, clients, and specifiers could explore our products hands-on, appreciate the craftsmanship, and co-create tailored solutions.

Key objectives

We set out to define distinct zones within the showroom to highlight the versatility of our product portfolio whilst allowing us to update and refresh the space in line with seasonal trends and key events. The layout was reconfigured to improve the natural flow for visitors, offering a more spacious and intuitive environment to explore. Our commitment to sustainability is visible throughout the showroom, shown by the materials, finishes, and design choices.

Materials and Finishes

Staying true to our sustainability ethos, the materials selected for the refurbishment reflect a careful balance of environmental responsibility and enduring quality.

This year also gave us the opportunity to showcase the Nita Collection -  our most sustainable collection to date. Learn more about Nita.

Our drive for sustainability includes using FSC-certified woods and low VOC finishes, recycled or rapidly renewable textiles and naturally treated acoustic wall panels. Our products are even designed and manufactured in a modular style so that we can reuse and reconfigure them at the end of their life.

Collaborations

We all need help to realise our dreams, and this project was no different. It wouldn't have been possible without the help and expertise of some of the biggest names in the business—and some new names, too!

Camira provided us with high-performance, sustainable, knitted fabrics and a ground breaking technology that made Nita possible.

What Plastics? A new partnership helped us make and use recycled plastic elements, which we integrated into our Henry range and is now available on virtually all our tables

Benholm turned the showroom into a living organism with their love and knowledge of living and preserved plants.

What will the next 12 months hold in store for us? Who knows but we are very excited to see what happens and invite you all to join us. View our full product range.
