Wrights Plastics’ solar investment delivers major sustainability milestone

Plastic fabrication company Wrights Plastics has confirmed major carbon-cutting results following the installation of solar panels at its West Bromwich manufacturing HQ.

To date, the renewable energy system has enabled the company to:

  • Reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by 317.66 tonnes
  • Save 127.44 tonnes of standard coal
  • Deliver an environmental impact equivalent to planting 176.48 trees

The figures highlight the success of Wrights Plastics’ wider sustainability strategy, which focuses on energy efficiency, reducing waste, and investing in more sustainable production methods.

Andy Watkins, Director at Wrights Plastics, commented:
