What is an aluminium ladder beam?
The aluminium ladder beam evolved from the old steel ladder beam. The change to aluminium coincided with the product being tested for the first time.
Ladder beams have a wide range of uses and can also be used to form part of a more complex structure.
Length options
Ladder beams manufactured and supplied by Apollo Scaffold Services are available in a range of lengths from 610mm to 8000mm (2ft to 26.5ft).

- Overall depth - 353mm (12" centres) (standard ladder beam width)
- 48.3mm x 4.47mm wall thickness grade 6082 T6 aluminium
- All aluminium beams are T.I.G welded (welders coded to BSEN 287 Pt2 92AI/97 EN30042)
- Conforms to BS 8118 & BS EN 1999-1-1
- Self weight 5kg/m
- Monthly proof load testing of random sample beams
