The Anchor Post was designed by Anchor Systems in 2007 when London Underground were looking for a foundation solution for their cable route management system. The traditional concrete foundations would have taken 6 years to install, however the Anchor Post reduced this timeframe down to just 3 years.
Over 40,000 Anchor Posts have been used across London Underground & Network Rail as an alternative to concrete foundations. This not only reduces time and cost on a project, but it also has a much better environmental benefit too.
The Anchor Post is Made in Britain from 65% recycled UK steel and can be used as an alternative foundation for light to medium weight structures.
