Brick Slips tracker Panel

Product Description

The e4 Structures Brick Slip System panel is an aid to accurately and quickly fit Brick Slips for both internal and external feature walls. The HIPS and FR ABS sheets are formed with horizontal channels which the Slips fit into. The sheet can be supplied in loose form or bonded in the factory to a suitable bondable backing panel or substrate chosen by the customer. Examples of which are XPS, EPS grey, FCB (Fibre Cement Board) & OSB. Other panel substrates can be considered on request.

Conditions:
Panels should be fixed using mechanical fixings i.e. Stainless, galvanised or alloy steel screws and large head or penny washers or specialised purpose fixings. Type of screw and washer material depends on substrate to be fixed to. Minimum of 36 fixings at appropriate positions and fixed to a solid material structure capable of providing a permanent secure fixing. Stainless steel screws are not recommended for galvanised steel frame construction. ( Suggested screw fixing positions diagram on attached page). Loose sheets should be bonded to the wall surface or solid panel using a suitable adhesive for the wall & panel material and the HIPS sheet material with 100% or as near as possible, to 100% coverage.
The use of weather proofing tape or sealant at joining edges of each panel is recommended.
If panels are for New Build, EWI (External Wall Insulation), or refurbishment, please refer to recommended installation guidelines provided by a recognised authorised body such as INCA. Panels are recommended for low level buildings only.
Where required, Building Regulations should be sought through a recognised authority or association including Fire Safety approvals.
For external builds, advice should be sought on the specification from qualified expertise such as an architect or accreditation body.
