Product Description
Designed by Christina Roberts, the Cartridge was inspired by a modern-day shotgun cartridge. What really caught Christina’s eye when studying her inspiration was the outer brass casing, complete with a 1mm leading edge.
Fascinated by the precision and incremental detail which allows the gun to locate and eject, and the hunter to pull cartridges out from their cartridge belts with ease. Christina decided this would work perfectly for a small cabinet knob, but a cabinet knob with a difference.
The design lends itself perfectly to using Turnstyles’ trademark Amalfine ™ sitting below a more dominant solid brass top, with a beautiful, subtly machined cap.
Introducing a gentle taper helped to further accentuate the line and shape. Experimenting with different proportions, Christina and the design team concluded the perfect balance of Amalfine ™ and Brass, producing a harmonious relationship between the two materials.
