Product Description
M6 x 1 Self-Forming Thread Straight Hydraulic Grease Fitting. These fittings are manufactured according to DIN 71412 Type AS (H1/S). The fittings are manufactured using Mils Steel with a Zinc Trivalent Passivate Finish.
Self-forming threads can be screwed or driven into an untapped hole. The recommended size of the hole for an M6 x 1 thread is 5.5-5.7mm (Ref DIN 71412) but can be dependent on the material.
Avoid chamfering as a sharp edge to the hole helps the thread bite.
