Product Description
The MACTUN range is the only Range of Tundish which incorporates a silicone membrane, there are two models, MACTUN-1 which goes from 15mm pipe to 22mm pipe and a MACTUN-2 which goes from either 15mm/22mm pipe to 1.1/4" pipe.
The self closing membrane opens to allow discharge water to flow freely and then closes to prevent sewer gases and fouls odours from entering the property.
The items have no spring mechanism and shall not be affected by scale in hard water areas.
The membrane creates no resistance to discharge flow from PRV /TRV valves preventing splashing
The products have been tested by WRAS & KIWA and are resistant to temperatures up to 100°c
The products are generally maintenance free, if required the top part of the body can be removed for inspection or cleaning during the annual service date.
Suitable for use on the following, UNVENTED CYLINDERS / WATER HEATERS / BOILERS / PRV VALVES / CONDENSATE & AIR CONDITIONING UNITS.
